Ingredients

• 3 tbsp Korean gochujang (red pepper paste)
• 3 tbsp soy sauce
• 2 tbsp Korean fine chili powder
• 2 tbsp apple purée
• 2 tbsp onion purée
• 1 tbsp minced garlic
• 1 tbsp corn syrup or honey
• ½ tbsp sesame oil
• Black pepper, to taste
• 1 large onion, sliced
• 2 scallions, cut into 2-inch pieces
• White sesame seeds, for garnish
• Sunflower oil, as needed

Instructions

1. Marinate the pork: In a bowl, combine the sliced pork with onion purée, garlic, soy sauce, apple purée, chili powder, gochujang, corn syrup, sesame oil, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2. Prep the vegetables: Slice the onion and cut the scallions into 2-inch pieces.

3. Cook the pork: Heat a Flambo Skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes. Add a little sunflower oil, then add the marinated pork. Stir-fry until the meat is slightly browned.

4. Add vegetables: Toss in the onion slices and scallions, stirring frequently until they soften and the pork is fully cooked.
