Ingredients

• 250g pork strips
• ¼ onion, sliced
• 5 scallions, whites and greens separated
• 4 cloves garlic, sliced
• 1 fresh chili, sliced
• ¼ tsp salt (plus extra for marinade)
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• 1.5 tbsp sunflower oil

For the marinade:
• ¼ tsp salt
• 1 tsp soy sauce
• 1 tsp rice wine
• A pinch of white pepper

This quick and flavorful stir-fry is a go-to dish for busy weeknights. Tender pork strips are perfectly matched with fragrant scallions, garlic, and a splash of soy sauce. It’s a simple, comforting classic that fills your kitchen with the aroma of home.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients:

    • Slice garlic into thin pieces

    • Julienne the onion

    • Cut scallions into sections, separating white and green parts

    • Slice the chili on a diagonal

  2. Marinate the pork:

    • Combine pork strips with ¼ tsp salt, a dash of white pepper, 1 tsp soy sauce, and 1 tsp rice wine

    • Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes

  3. Stir-fry aromatics:

    • Preheat your Flambo Skillet until a water droplet dances on the surface

    • Add sunflower oil and heat until ripples form

    • Lower to medium-low heat

    • Add garlic slices, onion, and scallion whites

    • Sprinkle in ¼ tsp salt

    • Stir-fry until the onions soften

  4. Cook the pork:

    • Add marinated pork and stir-fry until fully cooked

    • Drizzle in 1 tbsp soy sauce and mix well
